The Paramount+ streaming network was looking to promote the fourth season premiere of Star Trek: Discovery to sci-fi genre fans on Gizmodo.com with content that captured the show’s themes of inclusivity and connection.

Working with G/O Media Studios, Gizmodo’s branded content team, I brainstormed, developed, and ultimately wrote this piece that incorporated real fans’ stories about how Star Trek reminds them they’re not alone in the world.
